Foodture Barcelona is a space for open dialogue where visionary projects, startups, science, design and innovation come together to explore and redesign the world of food. ¶ Barcelona centre de Disseny contacted us to create a strong and dynamic visual identity which would serve this year’s purpose and also be a platform for upcoming editions. ¶ We worked alongside Plat Institute and Raúl Maldonado to create the visual identity and the whole concept and strategy. Related to the content of these events and the ever-changing futures regarding food and culture, the logo itself is a variable element of the identity. We used two typefaces to reflect this attribute, one which would transform the other, as an unexpected gesture.
